When Douglas and Melanie Sedam began working in the mortgage lending industry in 1986, they knew instantly this would be their lifetime career. Their love for helping people and natural tendency to work hard made them both top producers at a large California Savings and Loan Association, where they were employed for several years. They earned a coveted membership in the President's Club their first year and every year since.
To better serve their clients, Douglas and Melanie soon left retail mortgage lending for wholesale mortgage banking. They wanted to offer a wider selection of mortgage products to suit their clients' specific needs. The change enabled them to work with a variety of lending institutions to offer many types and styles of loans.
Douglas and Melanie love living in Valencia, where their children, Derek and Kebra, attend local public schools. The Sedams have been active supporters of various sports programs at Hart High School, The Special Olympics, The Child & Family Center of Santa Clarita, and are members of Grace Baptist Church. Douglas and Melanie's easy-going manner, warm sense of humor, and keen blend of knowledge concerning residential lending have endeared them to friends, business colleagues and clients alike.
